The Dallas Police Department released a statement Thursday regarding Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel.
A WFAA investigation revealed that Manziel’s ex-girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, told police that Manziel threatened to kill her during an argument on Jan. 30 in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
She told police that Manziel told her “shut up or I’ll kill us both” after forcing her into a car, hitting her and dragging her by the hair.
The Dallas Police Department says the case is closed and investigative efforts did not result in the filing of a criminal complaint.
