Berea Mayor Cyril Kleem released a statement Monday night on the status of the city’s partnership with the Cleveland Browns.

The team’s headquarters are located in the city. However, theteam is considering moving training camp from Berea to Columbus.

“It’s clear to us that the Browns remain committed to Berea as evident by their recent extension,” said Mayor Kleem. “Included in that extension is a commitment to host a number of open practice sessions that will continue the tradition of giving fans the opportunity to see the Browns up close and personal in Berea for free.”

The Browns say training camp will remain in Berea in 2016.
