The support for Flint keeps pouring in from the faith-based community.

GRAMMY® Award-winning gospel singer Erica Campbell has launched the “Bless Flint Challenge” to filter out the lead that has poisoned the water in the town’s homes.

“Join me in the Bless Flint Challenge. We can make a tangible difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters in Flint,” says the “Help” singer in a new Instagram video. “They need water filters and they need them now.”

According to the GoFundMe page set up to collect contributions, the fundraising goal is $25,000, which will be divided among four churches in Flint, enabling the awarded ministries to purchase and distribute water filters to members of the church and community.

“In some of the homes, the lead levels are so high the filters won’t work,” notes Campbell.
