Customers in some eastern suburbs in Cleveland may experience cloudy or discolored water over the next 24 hours.
Crews are working to repair a 42-inch transmission main serving the area.
The Cleveland Water Department says the water is safe to drink and no boil alert is in effect.
The areas affected are the “2nd high” suburbs, like Cleveland Heights, Maple Heights, Bedford Heights, University Heights and Garfield Heights.
Crews are working in the affected communities to flush hydrants throughout the system and keep the water as clear as possible.
