Former Cleveland Brown Reginald J. “Reggie” Rucker was in federal court Wednesday afternoon on charges related to accusations of using charity donations to pay off gambling debts and other personal expenses. His arraignment was at 2 p.m. before U.S. District Judge Dan Polster.

Rucker pleaded guilty to federal charges of wire fraud and making false statements to a federal agent before U.S. District Judge Dan Polster.

He will be sentenced at noon May 23, likely a sentence of between 21-27 months. He will also have to make restitution of between $95, 000-$150,000.

He was released on an unsecured bond and is allowed to visit his terminally ill sister in Washington D.C.
