There are many economic benefits to hosting the Republican National Convention. But simply being a key swing state pays off too.
On Thursday, MSNBC set up shop inside The Root Café in Lakewood. They will be broadcasting from there through the weekend.
“Basically we start early morning from 6 a.m. and we go well into the afternoon,” said Joe Raznik, Technical Manager. “And there’s a number of different shows. Chris Jansing is going to be here.”
All the while, business will continue as usual.
