Though the calendar may say spring Sunday, winter won’t be going away quietly.
A snowstorm could hit portions of the Mid-Atlanticand Northeast on Sunday, the first day of spring. As much as a foot of snow is possible in some areas, especially in New England, by the time the storm winds down on Monday.
“If the storm develops to its full potential, then a blizzard could evolve in part of New England,” said AccuWeather meteorologist Bernie Rayno.
