Residents say there are just too many potholes to count on their streets. The City of Cleveland said it plans to resurface dozens of them over the next several months.

The City of Cleveland maintains about 10,200 main and residential streets. Only about 70 local streets are being resurfaced this year. Residents on Invermere Avenue on Cleveland’s east side are jumping for joy.

While people who live just a few blocks away are wondering why their street is not on the list.

“The whole street,” said Aron Holston. “They are rejoicing.”

Aron Holston lives on Invermere Avenue near East 173rd Street.  He has driven up and down these streets for more than 40 years.
