The city of Cleveland is about to become a land of wine and gold.

As Round 1 of the NBA playoff opens in Cleveland against Detroit on Sunday, Cavalier fans are prepping for the road to a championship.

Here’s a guide for everything fans need to know about the playoffs, including schedules, where to watch and how to get tickets.


Round 1, vs. Detroit Pistons (Home games are bolded)

Game 1: Sunday, April 17 at 3 p.m.; ABC, ESPN, WTAM-AM 1100

Game 2: Wednesday, April 20 at 8 p.m.; TNT, Fox Sports Ohio, WTAM-AM 1100

Game 3: Friday, April 22 at 7 p.m.; ESPN, Fox Sports Ohio, WTAM-AM 1100

Game 4: Sunday, April 24 at 8:30 p.m.; TNT, Fox Sports Ohio, WTAM-AM 1100

*Game 5: Tuesday, April 26. Time to be determined.

At The Q: The Cavaliers will host fan fests outside Quicken Loans Arena two hours before every tip-off.

Fan fests will include live music, performances by the Cavalier Girls, Scream Team and others, giveaways, food trucks and other forms of entertainment.

Games will be displayed on large screens on the Gateway Plaza.
