LeBron James will reportedly return to the big screen as the star of “Space Jam 2”, The Hollywood Reporter reports.
The film will reportedly be directed and written by Justin Lin and Andrew Dodge.
“Space Jam 2” follows the footsteps of Michael Jordan’s “Space Jam,” released in 1996.
Speculation on a possible sequel sparked last summer when James’ company SpringHill Entertainment signed a deal with Warner Brothers.
The film will not be James’ acting debut, as he also appeared in Amy Schumer’s “Trainwreck.”
