The Cavaliers made it rain 3s in Game 2, breaking the NBA record for most treys in a game, regular season or playoffs (25), and while LeBron said after the game that “that’s not us,” in reality, it has been in these playoffs. The Cavs have thrown down 16 3-pointers per game through six games, tops in the NBA, and lead the league in 3-point percentage as well. The Spurs are second, the Warriors fourth.

Hostile Hawks

Some of the Atlanta Hawks were upset that the Cavs’ subs kept launching 3s as they went for the record on Wednesday night. Maybe we should send ’em a Get Well card to help heal their bruised egos, although I have a better solution for ’em: play better defense. Many of the Cavs’ looks were open looks, and while that has much to do with the phenomenal ball movement the Cavaliers have rediscovered in this postseason, the Hawks must look within to see why they’ve been overwhelmed in this series.
