Rickey Smiley, who is known for being funny, this week, got serious on his syndicated radio show.
While sharing the pain of losing friends, the 47-year-old revealed his testimony of how God has replaced lost relationships with even stronger ones.
“My best friend is the Presiding Bishop of Full Gospel Church,” said the stand-up comedian and actor of his Omega Psi Phi fraternity brother. “When we talk on the phone, we ain’t even talking about ministry. We ques and we love each other.”
According to the star of TV One’s “Rickey Smiley For Real” docu-series, he has shared both joyful and painful moments with the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship leader and pastor of the 29,000-member Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Nashville, TN.
