he Cleveland Cavaliers are in the midst of their second long layoff during the 2016 NBA Playoffs after dispatching of the Atlanta Hawks in a four-game sweep with a 100-99 win at Philips Arena Sunday night.

As such, the Cavaliers will not play again until at least Sunday, and it could be as late as next Tuesday when they host Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against either the Toronto Raptors or Miami Heat at Quicken Loans Arena.

“I think all three of us can agree we did a good job between the last series sweep of staying locked in,” power forward Kevin Love said after the Game 4 win. “We got a lot of conditioning. We were naturally watching the Atlanta and Boston series, and depending on who we were going to play, just looking at the different matchups, the key matchups and how those teams are coached, what their fourth-quarter package is, how they run their offense, defensive schemes, and we saw both of those teams last year in the playoffs.
