The Rite Aid 2016 Cleveland Marathon kicks off on Sunday, May 15 at 7 a.m.

According to the race organizers, more than 20,000 runners and walkers will hit the city streets to run one of the races in the event’s series, including the full marathon (26.2 miles), the half marathon (13.1 miles), and the 10k (6.2 miles).

Here’s what you need to know about the 39th installment of the city’s marquee running event.

The race is focused downtown and on the city’s west side. It begins at Quicken Loans Arena and finishes at Mall C downtown.

The very first road closure will begin at 2 a.m., and the last road will open by 4 p.m. Runners should be at the start line by 6 a.m.
