What Prince’s Bodyguard Has To Say About Prince, Pain And Addiction:
As details eke out about Prince’s last days, the people closest to him have mostly kept away from the spotlight and kept quiet, until now.
Prince’s bodyguard, who says he’s been working for the megastar since 2012, spoke to CNN Sunday as he came out of an invite-only memorial for Prince. The service was held at the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall where Prince worshiped in Hopkins, Minnesota, near Minnetonka.
“I was Prince’s bodyguard up until the day he died,” said Chris Gaither, who goes by the name “Romeo.”
He is certainly built for the job. Gaither is a towering figure. Dressed in an electric blue suit, he was one of the last to leave the private memorial attended by a few hundred people.
And The World’s Most Beloved Landmark Is:
According to the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), France is the world’s most visited country.
Various surveys consistently place Paris among the world’s five most visited cities.
But don’t expect to see the Eiffel Tower — or any other French landmark — on TripAdvisor’s most recent list of what it calls the World’s Most Beloved Landmarks.
You won’t find the Statue of Liberty, Great Wall of China or Sydney Opera House on the list either.
There are biggies on the TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice list — Cambodia’s Angkor Wat and Vatican City’s St. Peter’s Basilica.
Search Called Off For Missing Cruise Ship Passenger:
The search for a missing cruise ship passenger in the Gulf of Mexico has been suspended, the Coast Guard said in a statement.
Samantha Broberg’s travel companions reported the 33-year-old missing from the Carnival Liberty cruise ship on Friday, the cruise line said. The Carnival Liberty left Galveston, Texas, on Thursday on a four-day cruise of Mexico
Surveillance video indicates she fell overboard from the 10th deck early Friday morning. The footage suggests she was sitting on a deck railing and fell backwards into the water, Carnival said.
