Behind a 25-point effort from power forward Kevin Love and 71 combined from “The Big Three,” the Cleveland Cavaliers earned a 116-78 victory over the Toronto Raptors in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals at Quicken Loans Arena Wednesday night.
With the win, the Cavaliers took a 3-2 series lead over the Raptors with a chance to close out the East Finals in Game 6 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto Friday night.
After struggling through Games 3 and 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals in Toronto, Love came alive and was nearly perfect, as he sunk eight of his 10 looks from the field, three of his four three-pointers and all six of his free throws on his way to a game-high 25 points.
