Many students depend on free or reduced meals provided throughout the school year and are in need of those same meals when school lets out.

The Greater Cleveland Food Bank has a program making sure they don’t go hungry between June and August.

The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a summer meal program for school age children administered by the Ohio Department of Education.

The Greater Cleveland Food Bank will deliver nutritious meals to partner sites daily that serve the meal to children when school is not in session.

Many of the children who participate in the program are the same children who rely on the school lunches and qualify for free/reduced school lunches.
