The Lake Erie Monsters are one win away from the Calder Cup Championship after a 3-2 overtime win over the Hershey Bears at Quicken Loans Arena Monday night.

Right winger Oliver Bjorkstrand, who scored two of the Monsters’ three goals, in Game 3 registered the winning tally when he took a pass from defenseman Zach Werenski and rifled a shot past Hershey goaltender Justin Peters at the 1:20 mark of the extra frame.

Bjorkstrand has scored nine goals on this postseason run for the Monsters.

With the Monsters down, 1-0, after an early goal from Hershey defenseman Ryan Stanton, one in which he controlled the puck on the stick side of Monsters goaltender Anton Forsberg before sending the shot on net, Bjorkstrand found a way to even up the score.
