Christian pioneer TobyMac addressed the highly anticipated upcoming dc Talk reunion and the Jesus Freak cruise next summer during Sunday’s K-LOVE Fan Awards
While Backstage in the media room of the 2016 K-LOVE Fan Awards, TobyMac talked about the reunion he and his former dc Talk bandmates Michael Tait and Kevin Max announced last month.
Sixteen years after the band dc Talk revolutionized the Christian market with their groundbreaking album Jesus FreakĀ in 1995, the trio announced an upcoming a performance next year on the Jesus Freak Cruise to the Bahamas.
“The only thing we’ve done so far is we’ve said, yes,” Toby is heard saying in a SnapChat video posted by the K-LOVE Fan Awards. “We texted each other, ‘Would you do it?’ ‘Yeah’ ‘Would you do it?’ ‘Yeah’. OK, cool we going to do this!
