The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority is accepting only cash this week for rail services on the West Side Red Line in anticipation of large crowds attending Indians games this week.
RTA said staff will be at key stations to help those purchasing tickets.
Riders can also use a free mobile ticketing app that lets them skip the lines and pay from their mobile phones. Riders can download the app from the IPhone App store and Android Google Play.
Riders can add their credit card information to pay for their pass on the secure RTA CLE account. They can then use their mobile ticket to board transit or store their ticket for later use.
When they exit the Rapid at Tower City, they will show their pass on their phone to the booth attendant at the turn styles.
