Here are the five key moments from RNC Day 1:
5. Benghazi mom: Hillary Clinton killed my son
Pat Smith’s son, Sean, was killed in Benghazi. Smith said she spoke with her son the night before his death and he told her, “I’m going to die,” because all security had been pulled from the embassy and no reason was ever provided.
Smith said she has asked Clinton for answers on Benghazi and has received none.
“I personally blame Hillary Clinton for for the death of my son,” Smith told the RNC crowd Monday night.
