Demonstrators from different groups exchanged more than a few words.
But a line of blue separated one opinion from the next.
This was the sight in Public Square Tuesday afternoon. It shows the largest number of people in Public Square thus far during the RNC. But those numbers didn’t exceed those of local and state police.
As tensions between groups escalated, they soon began to disperse. Some broke off and headed on a march down Euclid Avenue. The largest group of people marched along with a large “Stop Murder by Police” sign.
They went all the way down to Playhouse Square — where they did an about face, then lingered in the intersection at 9th Street and Euclid Avenue.
