Cruz Booed After Refusing To Endorse Trump:

Ted Cruz sensationally withheld an endorsement of Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention Wednesday, earning a chorus of boos from the floor before he was upstaged in a power play by the GOP nominee himself.

In a dramatic development, as Cruz wrapped up his speech, Trump suddenly appeared in the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. He walked to join his family in a VIP area and flashed a thumbs-up — a gesture that transmitted clear anger at the Texas senator’s behavior.

Cruz, his party’s runner-up, uttered Trump’s name just once — to congratulate him — and instead pitched the ideological brand of conservatism that endears him to the GOP’s base.
“I congratulate Donald Trump on winning the nomination last night,” Cruz said. “And like each of you, I want to see the principles that our party believes prevail in November.”

Disney Alligator Attack: Family Of Dead Boy Won’t Sue:

The family of Lane Graves, the toddler killed by an alligator at a Disney World hotel in June, won’t sue the Walt Disney Company, his parents said Wednesday in a statement.

“Melissa and I are broken,” Matt Graves said. “We will forever struggle to comprehend why this happened to our sweet baby, Lane. As each day passes, the pain gets worse, but we truly appreciate the outpouring of sympathy and warm sentiments we have received from around the world.”

Cancer-Stricken Shannen Doherty Shaves Head:

Shannen Doherty documented shaving her head as she battles breast cancer.

The actress went public with her diagnosis last August when she filed a lawsuit against her former business manager. In the claim, the “Charmed” and “90210” star accused her manager of not paying health insurance premiums, causing coverage for the actress to lapse.
On Tuesday, Doherty posted images on her Instagram account. In one, she is being hugged by her mother, Rosa Doherty. In another, friend and model Anne Marie Kortright takes a photo as the actress cuts her hair.

Tiger Woods Won’t Play PGA Championship, Will Miss All Four Majors:

Tiger Woods previously has said he will only return to golf when he can play, practice and recover day after day with no ill effects.

He’s still not there, and golf won’t see the former world No. 1 play in a single major this season.
On Tuesday, according to PGA.com, it was announced that Woods would miss the PGA Championship, the final major of the calendar year in men’s golf. It’s the first time in his career Woods has missed all four majors in the same season.
“We have been in contact with Tiger’s agent, Mark Steinberg, and he informed us today that our four-time PGA Champion will be unable to join us at Baltusrol Golf Club next week for the 98th PGA Championship,” PGA of America said in a statement.
