Take that, lazy-bones Ryan Seacrest: part-time Atlantan Steve Harvey is planning to host his fifth television show.
The host with the most already leads a syndicated morning radio show and four television shows: his daytime “Steve Harvey Show,” “Family Feud” in syndication, “Celebrity Family Feud” on ABC and NBC’s “Little Big Shots.” All are deemed big successes in their respective worlds.
His latest, “Steve Harvey’s Funderdome,” will be “a seed-funding competition reality series where two budding entrepreneurs will go head-to-head to win over a live studio audience to fund their ideas, products or companies,” according to the press release.
ABC is playing off the success of its long-running series “Shark Tank.”
Casting is now underway and “Funderdome” will begin shooting in Los Angeles in October for ABC.
