Parma Heights Police confirm eight people were hit by a car at Greenbriar Commons, and two people are seriously injured.
Police say a woman was attempting to leave a community concert when the accident happened.
When the woman got into her car to pull out, she accidentally hit the gas and drove into a dance floor in the parking lot.
Two people and the driver were treated at the scene and six others were taken to hospitals. Five were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center and one was taken to University Hospitals in Parma.
Two of those taken to hospitals were seriously injured.
Parma Heights Police say they cannot rule out charges against the driver at this point and will continue to investigate.
