San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick‘s actions Friday night are being felt in Cleveland.

Kaepernick refused to stand during the national anthem Friday night in protest of treatment of African-Americans. He remained seated and has since said he will continue to sit until something is done to change race relations in America.

Monday while speaking on NFL Total Access, former Browns RB and Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Brown weighed in and said he agreed with Kaepernick taking a stand because he is ‘still’ living it.

“I listen to him and he makes all the sense in the world. He’s within his rights and he’s telling the truth as he sees it,” said Brown. “I don’t know what the big issue is because this young man, in backing up his statement, becomes stronger in my mind.”
