An Amber Alert has been issued for a Brunswick girl believed to have been abducted.
Officials say Robin C. Roberts, 15, was taken by her biological father from K-Mart on Center Road in Brunswick at 7:49 p.m. Monday. She is 5-foot-10, 110 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes.
The father, William C. Roberts, 40, is a registered sex offender and has a history of drug use. He is described as 5-foot-10, 220 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a black Ford Ranger with license plate PJL4802, which was taken from another vehicle.
Police say William Roberts frequents the Ravenna area. He has two warrants out for his arrest for drug paraphernalia.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
