Fathers across Cuyahoga County took to the sidewalk, walking their children and other students to school.
It’s all part of the Fatherhood Initiative, which is working to help dads in Cuyahoga County play a more active role in the lives of their kids.
Research shows that kids with involved and loving fathers are more likely to be financially and emotionally secure.
The Initiative responds to escalating social concerns regarding “father absence” by providing fathers with access to services designed to prepare them to better meet the emotional, psychological, and financial needs of their children.
