The Cleveland Indians are heading back to the postseason!

With their “Magic Number” to clinch the American League Central Division title down to one heading into Monday night’s game against the Detroit Tigers (83-73) at Comerica Park, the Indians (91-65) fought their way to a 7-4 road win, which punched their ticket to the playoffs for the first time since 2013 and just the third time since the start of the 2002 season.

The Indians last won the Central Division championship in 2007, when they advanced to Game 7 of the American League Championship Series before being eliminated by the eventual World Series Champion Boston Red Sox.
