This weekend, Hillsong New York pastor Carl Lentz will appear on Oprah’s show Super Soul Sunday, and OWN recently released a clip. The series is known for its extended conversation with leaders from different faiths and worldviews, but, if these clips are any indication, the episode will be mostly about Jesus:
Back in March, when the episode was taped, Lentz took to Instagram to explain about how Jesus was the focus of their conversation:
What struck me most about her, was her ease and kindness. She told me her key was “waking up each day and thanking Jesus for loving me and thanking Him for all he has done.” That practice, in that order, is one to be copied.
