Cleveland State University’s students have participated in Make a Difference Day for more than a decade, and nearly 100 are expected to volunteer this year.

The students will join hundreds of local residents in doing community projects this Saturday, a national day of service that impacts Cleveland and surrounding areas.

Not only have individual students from CSU have signed up, but several student organizations have registered as a group. Greek Life will be assisting with a beach cleanup over at Edgewater beach and CSU Student Government Association planned their retreat around a service initiative at Fairfield Partners, painting and working on fall landscaping clean up.

CSU’s annual participation in Make a Difference Day is part of the university’s larger ommitment to community service that places hundreds of students with nonprofits and in volunteer roles across the region.
