Actress Cecilia Hart Jones, the wife of actor James Earl Jones, has died after a year-long battle with ovarian cancer. She was 68.
WesportNow reported she died on Wednesday.
The actress met Jones while working on the TV series Paris in 1979. They got married in 1982, the same year they co-starred in Broadway’s Othello.
Her other theater credits include The Heiress, Design for Living and Dirty Linen & New-Found-Land. She was also a frequent television guest star.
She is survived by her husband and their son, Flynn, as well as her brothers James A. V. Hart and William F. Hart III.
People magazine said Jones’ representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
