- Polls are open in Ohio from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.Tuesday, Nov. 8.
- The state of Ohio is worth 18 electoral votes in the presidential race.
- It takes 270 electoral votes to win the presidency.
- California carries the most electoral votes with 55.
- Multiple school levies are also on the ballot throughout Northeast Ohio, including Issue 108 — a tax levy renewal for Cleveland schools.
- Voters statewide will also determine the outcome of the heated U.S. Senate race between Ted Strickland and Rob Portman.
- More than 23 million Americans have already voted early. An estimated 30-40 percent of total ballots will have been from early voting.
