As Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton privately conceded defeat to President-Elect Donald Trump, one of her biggest celebrity supporters took to the streets in protest.
Lady Gaga was photographed outside New York City’s Trump Tower early Wednesday morning — standing on a sanitation truck while holding a pro-Clinton sign reading “Love trumps hate.”
The image was quickly shared on Twitter — where many Clinton supporters praised Gaga for her steadfast support. Gaga later shared a black-and-white shot of the action on her own feed, writing, “I want to live in a #CountryOfKindness where #LoveTrumpsHate.”
