Key on a Bible

Some people get so caught up in the good times, when life seems to be going exactly their way, that

they forget to thank God for prospering them! Others get so discouraged during the bad times that they

forget God will see them through.

Today, I’ve put together a list of 5 scriptures from the Book of Psalms to remind you that no matter what

your situation may be, God should never be deprived of praise.

1. Psalm 34:1 (ESV)- “I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

It doesn’t say I will bless the Lord only when life is all good, or only when I need deliverance from a tough

situation– but at all times.

2. Psalm 145:3 (NIV)- “Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.”

God is always worthy of praise for His greatness, no matter the circumstances.

3. Psalm 103:2 (KJV)- “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.” Praise God when

He has blessed you with a time of peace and also when He counts you worthy to suffer for your

betterment and His glory (James 1:1-4).

4. Psalm 150:2 (ESV)- “Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent

greatness!” Praise God not only for what He’s done, but who He is. He is loving, patient, ever-present,

and gracious; all His mighty works are a result of His wonderful character.

5. Psalm 86:12 ( NIV)- “I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.”

Put your heart into it when you praise God! If you really take time to think about His goodness and what

He’s done, you’ll find that worship is never too difficult to muster.
