I believe we can all agree that life offers us many opportunities to complain, but how many times does

it make room for worship? Many times!

Whether times are good or bad, there is always a reason to give God praise. If you’re struggling to

find some, here 7 reasons why you should offer thanksgiving.

1. Hebrews 13:15 (NIV)- “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice

of praise–the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.” Through Christ, the Sacrificial Lamb,

we are able to approach God with the sacrifice of praise. Don’t take this for granted. Praise Him

for the access you have through Christ.

2. Psalm 7:17 (NIV)- “I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness; I will sing the

praises of the name of the LORD Most High.” Give glory to God in all circumstances, because

He is holy and deserving of the praise.

3. Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NIV)- “Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines,

the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and

there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my

salvation.” Habakkuk had more to complain about than anyone, yet he still chose to give God

praise. When your situation offers you a million reasons to be bitter or upset, worship the Lord

regardless, just for who He is.
