I-90 East has officially reopened Friday morning — more than 14 hours after authorities shut traffic down because of a 50-vehicle accident.
The traffic closure, which was put in place around 3 p.m. Thursday, was in effect between Route 44 and route 528.
Approximately 20 commercial vehicles, a Greyhound bus and at least 20 passenger cars collided.
Several people were hurt in the crash.
The westbound lanes were also closed for hours, but all lanes have reopened in that direction as well.
