Monica Brown’s “God’s Child” sweatshirts from her clothing collection have a special spiritual significance, according to the singer.
A number of people have been helping the “So Gone” singer promote her merchandise by wearing it on social media. When reality television show personality and New York Times best-selling author Toya Wright decided to wear her good friend’s “God’s Child” sweatshirt, the singer explained the spiritual significance.
The singer posted another imageĀ of a young boy wearing the sweatshirt while citing the importance of “teaching our kids accountability, responsibility and credibility early, #GodsChild.”
Monica’s online store includes The Code Red Collection that coincides with her eighth studio album, Code Red. Aside from God’s Child shirts, One of the T-shirts being offered in the online shop features a scripture found in numerous biblical versions of 2 Corinthians 5:7: “We walk by faith not by sight.
