Facebook Video Reminder Of Violence Faced By Disabled Americans:

It’s a horrific incident. On Tuesday afternoon, Chicago police found a young man wearing shorts, wandering the streets, clearly in distress. They matched him to a missing persons call from a nearby suburb. Over the next day, gruesome details emerged of what had happened to the 18-year-old, mentally disabled male. According to police, the young man was kidnapped and tortured, his abuse streamed live over Facebook. The alleged assailants are black, and at one point on the video, a male voice can be heard yelling, “”f*ck Donald Trump” and “f*ck white people.” Four individuals have been charged.

Joe Biden To Trump: ‘Grow Up, Donald’:

Vice President Joe Biden has a message for the next President: “Grow up, Donald.”

In an interview with PBS NewsHour that aired Thursday, Biden was asked about President-elect Donald Trump’s tweets, specifically one where he called Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer “the head clown” and another in which he wrote, “Doing my best to disregard the many inflammatory President O statements and roadblocks. Thought it was going to be a smooth transition – NOT!”
Biden responded it was time for Trump to “be an adult.”

Chris Berman Stepping Away From Being Face Of ESPN’s NFL Coverage:

Chris Berman, the network’s long-time sportscaster, will no longer be the face of the network’s NFL coverage, ESPN said in a statement on Thursday.

Berman, 61, will also be leaving his roles leading the network’s “NFL Draft” coverage as well as its broadcasts of Major League Baseball’s “Home Run Derby.”

However, Berman will not be leaving the network all together. He will still make appearances on-air from time to time and will “also serve in public-facing roles on behalf of the company,” according to the network.

He’ll also continue to host ESPN’s “NFL PrimeTime” from the field after the Super Bowl, will participate in the ESPYS, and handle play-by-play on radio for the MLB’s divisional playoffs.

Berman, who started a month after ESPN’s inception in 1979, has been a foundational talent at the Worldwide Leader in Sports for nearly four decades, helping to turn it into one of most popular networks in TV history.

Trump Asking Congress, Not Mexico, To Pay For Border Wall:

President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team has signaled to congressional Republican leaders that his preference is to fund the border wall through the appropriations process as soon as April, according to House Republican officials.

The move would break a key campaign promise when Trump repeatedly said he would force Mexico to pay for the construction of the wall along the border, though in October, Trump suggested for the first time that Mexico would reimburse the US for the cost of the wall.
Trump defended that proposal Friday morning in a tweet, saying the move to use congressional appropriations was because of speed.
“The dishonest media does not report that any money spent on building the Great Wall (for sake of speed), will be paid back by Mexico later!” Trump tweeted Friday.
