Sessions Did Not Disclose Meetings With Russian Ambassador:

Attorney General Jeff Sessions met twice last year with the top Russian diplomat in Washington whose interactions with President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser Mike Flynn led to Flynn’s firing, according to the Justice Department.

Sessions did not mention either meeting during his confirmation hearings when he said he knew of no contacts between Trump surrogates and Russians. A Justice official said Sessions didn’t mislead senators during his confirmation.
The Washington Post first reported on Sessions’ meetings with the official.

Wasserman Schultz Bashes Conway Tweet On Navy SEAL Widow Ovation:

Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz criticized the White House on Wednesday night after Kellyanne Conway retweeted an allegation that Wasserman Schultz did not stand or clap during a standing ovation for the widow of a slain Navy SEAL during President Donald Trump’s address to Congress.

Conway, one of the President’s top advisers, responded to someone else’s tweet by writing, “Hope this is not true. It was a moment of unity and deserved recognition

Oprah For President?:

President Donald Trump’s 2016 victory may have been Oprah Winfrey’s aha moment, as the talk show icon is now signaling she may be open to a presidential bid.

Asked whether she may be able to break the glass ceiling to be elected president, Winfrey smiled.
“I actually never thought that that was — I never considered the conversation even a possibility. I just thought, oh, oh,” she said in a conversation with billionaire David Rubenstein on Bloomberg’s “The David Rubenstein Show: Peer-to-Peer Conversations.”

7 Baltimore Officers Accused Of Abusing Power, Robbing Citizens:

Seven Baltimore police officers — members of the department’s Gun Trace Task Force — were accused Wednesday in a federal racketeering indictment of robbing people, claiming fraudulent overtime and filing false affidavits.

The officers are accused of stopping people — some of whom were not even suspected of any crimes — and seizing their money and pocketing it. In one instance, several of the officers stopped a maintenance supervisor at a nursing home and stole $1,500 that he was planning to use to pay his rent, according to the indictment.

McDonald’s To Launch Ordering App, Expand Delivery:

McDonald’s is looking to beef up its sales with new tech.

The company said Wednesday that it plans to launch an app where diners can place orders for pickup. It will also start expanding its delivery services.

The burger chain says the kiosks it’s already bringing to U.S. stores will be able to access customers’ app profiles, which can store “customized favorites and preferred payment methods.”
