It seems like everyone is seeking God for elevation these days. They believe they are ready for the next level, more territory and a higher position.

But if you want increase, GRAMMY® Award-winning gospel singer Erica Campbell says be prepared for difficulty, too.

“If you are looking at yourself and you go, ‘I want to have that big position. I want to be in charge. I want to be able to direct people’s comings and goings, and say ‘We’re going to do this and we’re going to do that,’ you also have to deal with the problems of dealing with a lot of people,” she said Tuesday on her nationally syndicated radio show Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell.

The “Help” singer, who daily shares spiritual affirmations and biblical teaching on her program, anchored her teaching in Matthew 25:23.

That scripture reads, “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
