Christians are here on earth to be the hands and feet of Jesus, offering love and help to those in
need.
Two top Christian radio personalities, Erica Campbell and Darlene McCoy are fulfilling that calling
by helping promote St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which pioneers research and treatments
for kids with cancer.
“St. Jude offers hope,” said Campbell of Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell, who shared her
thoughts on the state-of-the-art treatment facility in a video published by St. Jude. “They carry the
load and they give love, and support in probably the worst times in some families’ lives,” she
continued.
For years, St. Jude has been easing the financial load of families of cancer-stricken children by
ensuring that they never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food. This is
why the generous donations of the public are so important.
Last week, twenty-three cities across the country mobilized volunteers and helped raise money for
the nearly eight thousand patients that St. Jude treats each year as part of the St. Jude Radio
Cares Event.
Millions of dollars were raised.
