PJ Morton is a PK (Preachers Kid) of Bishop Paul S. Morton and Pastor Debra Morton. I have heard the many ups and downs that come along with that CALLING! 🙂 This new single by PJ Morton speaks the heart and feelings of many poured into one song! It’s titled, “Claustrophobic” most of us can stop right there! He starts the song by saying, “Just gotta be me…too many voices”.
He seems to be sharing his experiences thus far in the, “wonderful” world of entertainment, yet many will be able to relate on many levels! I love when he says, ” I can’t fit into your small box”. The video is shot inside of an elevator which is clearly a great analogy for tight spots!
Morton released a statement to Billboard regarding his inspiration behind the track and how he feels it relates in his response to critics:
