Police have named the victim shot and killed in Cleveland by a man who live-streamed the homicide on Facebook. He’s identified as 74-year-old Robert Godwin Sr.
The son of Godwin Sr. said he heard the screaming and followed the sound. When he got there, he saw the caution tape and police wouldn’t let him through.
“When the lady wearing the homicide jacket walked up, I knew it was real. I hate that he’s gone. It’s not real,” said Godwin’s son.
Police say Steve Stephens shot Goodwin on Sunday afternoon while he was recording live on Facebook.
Mayor Frank Jackson is urging Stephens to turn himself in and not to “do any more harm to anybody.
