Something new is happening with the abandoned land once held by the Geauga Lake amusement park.
Liberty Ford in Solon will now be moving onto the former theme park’s property in Aurora, which will take up close to 15 of those 600 plus acres.
According to Hanna Commercial Real Estate, the deal should close as early as next month.
WKYC spoke with Dustin Peugeot, Liberty Auto Group’s Chief Operating Officer, who says they’ll be tripling in size.
“It’s bittersweet to leave Solon, but we look forward to the new opportunity and inviting our current and perspective customers to enjoy it with us,” Peugeot said.
