Manchester Terror Attack: 22 Dead At Ariana Grande Concert Blast:

At least 22 people, including children, have been killed in a bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, in the deadliest terror attack on British soil since the 2005 London bombings.

Police said they believe a man carrying explosives acted as a lone attacker and died in the powerful blast that shook part of the cavernous Manchester Arena as concertgoers streamed out after the American pop star’s last song.

“It is now beyond doubt that the people of Manchester and of this country have fallen victim to a callous terrorist attack. An attack that targeted some of the youngest people in our society with cold calculation,” British Prime Minister Theresa May said after chairing an emergency Cabinet meeting Tuesday.

President Donald Trump doesn’t expect to emerge from his two-day visit to Israel and the West Bank with a peace deal in hand, but he is the latest president to arrive here with the lofty goal in mind.

His hopes for peace already appear buoyed by his first visit to the Middle East. He is looking for a path forward in his meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas — or at least an appearance of progress.
“During my travels I have seen many hopeful signs that lead me to believe that we can truly achieve a more hopeful future for people of this religion and for people of all faiths and all beliefs and frankly all over the world,” Trump said, delivering remarks Monday evening alongside Netanyahu.

Details emerged in five handwritten letters Hernandez penned to prison authorities during his time at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Massachusetts.
The Massachusetts Department of Correction provided the letters to CNN, with some names redacted, in response to a Freedom of Information Act request.

First Lady’s Hand Swat A Viral Sensation:

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, rolled out the red carpet for President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump at Ben Gurion International Airport Monday morning, but one moment stood out: a flick of the wrist seen ’round the world.

As the Trumps and the Netanyahus walked the red carpet following a formal welcoming ceremony and remarks, the President seems to reach for his wife’s hand. The first lady appears to swat her husband’s hand away with a visible flick of her wrist.
The White House has not responded to CNN’s request for comment and context on the moment, but the video clip is already going viral.
“Well this is embarrassing,” Israeli publication Haaretz wrote on its official Twitter account with a slow motion clip of the moment. The tweet has nearly 30,000 retweets as of this writing.
