A woman who said she won nearly $43 million at a New York casino but instead was offered only a steak is suing
Katrina Bookman took a photo of herself last August next to a slot machine whose screen read “Printing cash ticket $42,949,672.76.”
But the casino and the state’s gaming commission claimed the machine at Resorts World Casino malfunctioned and the casino offered Bookman a free steak dinner and $2.25.
Her attorney told CNN that he filed the suit after a months-long attempt to get the casino to pay Bookman more money.
