Charlie Wilson, who is very outspoken about his faith, recently shared with the Atlanta Business Chronicle that he asks God that he always be an inspiration to people.
I try my best on everything that I do. I try really hard to do my best and please my fans. I just hope that they will continue to love me. I hope they love me like I love them. I read a tweet about 15 minutes ago and somebody said, ‘Charlie Wilson’s voice (laughs) is going to be around as long as the sun.’ That made me feel real good (laughs) even though I don’t exactly know what they meant by that.
The “I’m Blessed” singer continued,
But, I want people to know that I’m serious about what I’m doing, I’m probably the oldest one out here doing it like this, I’m in it to win it, I won’t ever stop, I won’t give up and I’m a true testament to what this is all about. I’m still inspiring a lot of people and that’s what I ask for when I talk to God.
Hey man, maybe my legacy is that I always try to be an inspiration.
