In Memoir Excerpts, Clinton Details What Went Wrong In 2016 Campaign:
The book — which is titled “What Happened” and is rendered as a statement, not a question, on the cover — is set to be released September 12. The excerpts were obtained by MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” which aired the audio recording of Clinton reading the book herself.
“I don’t have all the answers and this isn’t a comprehensive account of the 2016 race,”
she said in one of the excerpts. “In this book, I write about moments from the campaign that I wish I could go back and do over. If the Russians could hack my subconscious, they’d find a long list.”

The former Spice Girl threw her drink at her fellow “America’s Got Talent” judge Tuesday after he made a joke about her wedding night.
The incident occurred during the live show Tuesday night as magician Demian Aditya attempted an escape trick involving a wooden box, fire and steel stakes.
The trick didn’t come off, leaving host Tyra Banks to explain that there had been a technical issue that was not Aditya’s fault.
“I kind of imagine this would be like Mel B’s wedding night,” Cowell joked. “A lot of anticipation, not much promise or delivery.”
Massachusetts Ticket Snags $759 million Powerball Jackpot:
Powerball just made one person insanely rich.
A winning ticket for Wednesday’s $758.7 million grand prize was sold at the Handy Variety convenience store in Watertown, Massachusetts, a lottery spokesman said. It’s the largest jackpot with a single winner in North American history.
The winning numbers were 6, 7, 16, 23, 26 and the Powerball was 4.
It wasn’t immediately clear who bought the lucky ticket. And whoever it is won’t get their hands on the full jackpot — lottery winnings are taxed like income.
The IRS taxes the top income bracket 39.6%. And the government will withhold 25% of that before the money ever gets to the winner. The rest has to be paid at tax time.

Mexico didn’t even come up when President Donald Trump vowed yet again to build the wall during a campaign rally (yes, it was an official Trump campaign re-election rally) in Phoenix on Tuesday night.
The crowd, which ate up the red meat Trump threw them during the frenzied, peripatetic event, didn’t seem to notice.
Now, instead of threatening Mexico, Trump is threatening a government shutdown if Congress doesn’t make US taxpayers open their coffers to build the border wall.
“And we are building a wall on the southern border, which is absolutely necessary,” he declared

The Catholic Diocese of Arlington in Virginia said the Rev. William Aitcheson volunteered to take a leave and didn’t elaborate on the length of time.
Images of violence in Charlottesville brought back memories of a dark time in his life, one he wishes he could forget but is unable to, Aitcheson
