In a new tweet, New York megachurch pastor, A.R. Bernard, said, “The heart of man is the foundation of all relationships. Is God at the center of your ‘heart’ work?”

Apparently, the Founder of the Christian Cultural Center feels God is no longer at the center of his relationship with President Donald Trump. He has resigned from the President’s Evangelical Advisory Board.

Bernard’s announcement of his resignation Friday marks the first from the GOP leader’s unofficial board of evangelical leaders acting as advisers to President Trump. It comes at a time when the divide between the president and the African-American community is deepening over remarks he made about the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, VA that turned violent, leaving one dead and 19 injured. Trump said he blames “both sides,” the racist demonstrators and the anti-racists protesters, for the clash in Charlottesville.

Bernard was among those who sat at the president’s table on May 3, the night before the National Day of Prayer, when Trump gathered faith leaders together to announce an executive order on religious freedom.
